Egypt University of Informatics – EUI has retained its position in the 1501+ band of the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, while improving its performance across three key UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the government said Monday. Despite a record number of 2,526 institutions from 130 countries participating in this year's edition, EUI advanced in several SDG indicators, underscoring its growing academic and societal impact since joining the global rankings two years ago. The university improved its placement in: * SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being): now ranked in the 1501+ band * SDG 5 (Gender Equality): climbed to the 801–1000 band * SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): advanced to the 1001+ band It maintained its ranking for: * SDG 4 (Quality Education) and * SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) in the 1501+ category. EUI said the results reflect its sustained commitment to contributing to global development goals through expanded academic and research efforts, while continuing to play a role in sustainable education both nationally and internationally.
