Egypt, China central banks sign MoU on strategic financial cooperation – Cabinet

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the People's Bank of China (PBC) signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic financial cooperation, the Egyptian Cabinet said in a statement on Thursday.
The agreement was signed in Cairo in the presence of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.
CBE Governor Hassan Abdalla and PBC Governor Pan Gongsheng signed the MoU, which aims to strengthen bilateral ties and expand coordination in the financial sector, the statement added.
