China's national consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.1 per cent year-on-year in June 2025, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday. Urban consumer prices increased by 0.1 per cent, while rural prices declined by 0.2 per cent, according to the latest figures. Food prices fell by 0.3 per cent, whereas non-food prices edged up by 0.1 per cent. Prices of consumer goods dropped 0.2 per cent, while service prices rose by 0.5 per cent. On a monthly basis, CPI fell by 0.1 per cent in June, with urban prices down 0.1 per cent and rural prices unchanged.
