South Korea's Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 2.2 per cent year-on-year, reaching 116.31 (2020=100) in June 2025, compared to the same month in 2024, according to official data from Statistics Korea on Wednesday. The index remained unchanged from the previous month. Excluding food and energy, the CPI recorded 113.17 in June 2025, marking a 0.1 per cent rise from May 2025 and a 2.0 per cent increase year-on-year.
