Asia-Pacific markets had a mixed trading day on Monday following President Trump's confirmation that "reciprocal" tariffs will be implemented on August 1 for countries without a trade agreement. Japan's Nikkei 225 closed down 0.56 per cent at 39,587.68, while the Topix fell 0.57 per cent to 2,811.72. South Korea's Kospi rose 0.17 per cent to 3,059.47, and the Kosdaq gained 0.34 per cent to 778.46. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 ended 0.16 per cent lower at 8,589.3.
