Japan's industrial output increases in May '25

Japan's industrial production rose by 0.5 per cent in May from the previous month, according to preliminary data released on Monday.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) said the main contributors to the uptick were production machinery and motor vehicles.
However, output declined in sectors including transport equipment, inorganic and organic chemicals, and electronic parts and devices.
