Japan's Services Producer Price Index rises in May '25

Japan's Services Producer Price Index (SPPI) for all items rose by 3.3 per cent year-on-year in May, according to official data published by the central bank on Wednesday.
Excluding international transport, the index recorded a higher annual increase of 3.5 per cent, reflecting persistent cost pressures in the domestic services sector.
