Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi voiced Egypt's "full rejection" of Israel's military operations targeting Iran, warning they pose a grave threat to Middle East stability at a time of deepening regional crises. In a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday, President El-Sisi called for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Iran to halt further escalation and open the door for diplomacy. "There is no military solution to this crisis," President El-Sisi said, according to a presidential statement, stressing the urgent need to de-escalate tensions and prevent violence from spreading across the region. The Egyptian president reiterated that sustainable peace in the Middle East hinges on implementing a two-state solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international resolutions. Pezeshkian thanked President El-Sisi for Egypt's "wise stance" and voiced Iran's agreement on the need for a just, lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
