Cairo will on Tuesday host the largest gathering of Egypt's construction, infrastructure and water sector players as Big 5 Construct Egypt and Egypt Infrastructure & Water Expo open for their latest editions. The events, running from 17 to 19 June at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre, reflect the government's push to accelerate urban development, improve water management and expand national infrastructure. More than 350 exhibitors from over 20 countries — including Germany, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Türkiye — will showcase products and solutions across building materials, digital construction, HVAC, and urban design. The event is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and backed by key state agencies, including the Ministry of Housing and the Armed Forces Engineering Authority. The exhibitions coincide with significant government investment in road networks, urban expansion, and utility upgrades. CPD-certified conferences will focus on sustainability, water scarcity, smart cities, and circular economy, while initiatives like Bokra Innovators aim to support the next generation of talent through skills-building and direct hiring opportunities. "As Egypt undergoes major infrastructure and urban transformation, the demand for skilled talent and collaboration is growing. This year's events not only connect the industry but also help shape the next generation of construction leaders," stated Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President – Construction, dmg events. "We are ready to welcome the construction community for three days of high-impact networking, business-making and professional growth." Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
