Egypt leads MENA in Wind Power Capacity in '24

Egypt is spearheading the renewable energy shift in the Middle East and North Africa, having topped the region in wind power generation capacity in 2024, the Egyptian Cabinet reported, citing the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
The milestone was driven by major project expansions and increased collaboration with the private sector.
This progress reflects Egypt's clear strategy to invest in clean energy sources and strengthens its position as a regional hub for sustainable power.
