Indonesia's import price index rose by 2.69 per cent in the first quarter of 2025, reaching 111.31 from 108.39 in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the latest data released by the statistics agency (BPS-Statistics Indonesia). The quarterly growth was primarily driven by the non-oil and gas group, which recorded a 3.20 per cent rise to 114.40 in Q1 2025, up from 110.85 in the previous quarter, the report revealed. Meanwhile, import prices for the oil and gas group inched up 0.14 per cent from 97.49 in Q4 2024 to 97.62 in Q1 2025.
