Asia-Pacific markets mostly declined on Thursday, diverging from Wall Street as investors evaluated US-China trade updates. Japan's Nikkei 225 dropped by 0.98 per cent to close at 37,755.51, and the Topix fell by 0.88 per cent to end at 2,738.96. South Korea's Kospi decreased by 0.73 per cent to close at 2,621.36, and the Kosdaq slipped by 0.79 per cent to close at 733.23. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell by 0.82 per cent, while mainland China's CSI 300 declined by 0.87 per cent. India's Nifty 50 also saw a decrease of 0.16 per cent.
