Gold prices dropped on Thursday as US President Donald Trump suggested a possible trade deal with Britain, easing trade tensions and diminishing gold's safe-haven appeal. As of 12:10 PM GMT, spot gold dropped 0.38 per cent to $3,351.74 per ounce, higher than its previous close of $3,364.48. Meanwhile, US gold futures fell 1.02 per cent to $3,357.34 per ounce, down from Wednesday's closing price of $3,391.9. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English, Reuters Subediting: M. S. Salama
