Gold prices soared to an all-time high above $3,000 per ounce on Tuesday as investors turned to the safe-haven asset amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and uncertainties surrounding US trade policies under President Donald Trump. As of 11:55 AM GMT, spot gold climbed 0.80 per cent to $3,025.34 per ounce, surpassing its previous close of $3,001.22.
