Egypt's Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy participated on Wednesday in the opening session of the International Conference on Societies of Opportunities 2025, held in Singapore from 29 to 30 April, as per a Cabinet statement. The opening session featured the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, the Minister for Social and Family Development of Singapore, along with a number of ministers and representatives from participating countries. Morsy is scheduled to deliver a speech highlighting Egypt's experience in the social protection field, as well as addressing the country's youthful population and opportunity-rich economy. The conference aims to address pressing issues related to income disparity, social mobility, and community development. It will offer a comprehensive view of global social mobility and explore key drivers that promote upward mobility. Discussions will also address the roles of different societal actors in creating opportunities for social advancement and enhancing citizens' lives.
