Egypt on Sunday strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the Gaza Strip, calling them a grave violation of international humanitarian law and all international norms. In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded an immediate halt to all Israeli assaults on Gaza and the unimpeded entry of humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip. The ministry warned that the current actions risk triggering a humanitarian catastrophe for which Israel would bear full responsibility. Egypt also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities and intervene without delay to stop the flagrant attacks on Gaza. It called for the activation of international law mechanisms and the UN Charter to ensure accountability and halt the aggression—especially amid ongoing regional and international efforts to achieve de-escalation and resume the ceasefire agreement.
