Egypt eyes medical cooperation with France's Gustave Roussy

Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met on Thursday with French Ambassador to Egypt, Eric Chevallier on Thursday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector.
The meeting primarily focused on expanding collaboration with France's Gustave Roussy Institute and exploring new partnership agreements. The two sides also discussed joint healthcare initiatives and humanitarian aid efforts, including upcoming medical assistance for hospitals in Egypt treating casualties from Gaza.
Additionally, the talks emphasised support for Palestinian patients and healthcare workers in North Sinai amidst the ongoing Gaza crisis.
