PM inaugurates $175m Flex PET Egypt's factory

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly inaugurated on Thursday Flex PET Egypt's factory for polyester resin manufacturing in the Ain Sokhna integrated industrial zone, a key area within the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE). The event was attended by government officials and Sushma C, Chargé d'Affaires Indian Embassy in Cairo.
With a $175 million investment, the state-of-the-art facility spans 125,000 square metres and boasts an annual production capacity of 580 metric tons. The plant is set to create 850 direct and indirect jobs, reinforcing Egypt's push toward industrial expansion and local manufacturing growth.
