Egypt's General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) signed a contract with Eroglu Knitting Company for the first phase of the Eroglu Knitting project, with a total investment of $120 million. The project will establish an integrated factory covering 100,000 square metres in the West Qantara Industrial Zone, producing 30 million pieces annually and providing 5,000 jobs. It will encompass all stages of garment manufacturing, from knitting to the final product. This marks Eroglu Global Holding's second project in West Qantara, following a $40 million ready-made garments factory spanning 64,000 square metres and set to begin pilot operations in April 2025, creating 2,000 jobs. A second phase is under consideration, bringing the total project investment to $180 million. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
