Hill International Middle East and North Africa is sponsoring the Okool (meaning minds) Competition, launched by the Egyptian government in preparation for the 12th edition of the World Urban Forum (WUF12), taking place on November 4-8. The competition invites students of engineering, urban planning, fine arts, and applied arts to submit innovative solutions for sustainable urban development challenges in Egypt. Empowering Young Minds for Sustainable Urbanisation The competition aims to engage young Egyptians in shaping the future of their cities. Winners will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas at WUF12, a global platform for discussing urban development solutions. "Egypt's hosting of the World Urban Forum affirms the country's commitment to sustainable development and balancing urban growth with the preservation of the environment."
