Barwa Real Estate Group, one of the leading real estate and investment companies in Qatar, signed several deals for units in both Barwa Commercial Avenue and Barwa City deals during Cityscape Qatar 2013 that concluded recently, said a press statement. The group signed leasing contracts with Lulu Hypermarket , Tanween and Ansar City. Under the agreement, Tanween will be able to run six buildings in Barwa City, while Ansar City will be occupying a showroom over an area of 27,000sqm in Barwa Commercial Avenue. Deputy Group CEO, Ahmad Abdulla Al Abdulla and Director of Group Real Estate Assets, Mohamed Jassim Al Othman attended the signing ceremony from Barwa Real Estate, as well as Chairman of Ansar City, Ali Akbar Sheikh Ali, and Regional Manager for Qatar and Egypt at Lulu Hypermarket , Mohammed Altaf, and CEO of Tanween Mohammed Abdulrahman Fakhro. Al Subaie was also a keynote speaker in the first Qatari real estate summit, attended by the leaders of real estate industry from Qatar and the world. During his speech, Al Subaie tackled the strong foundations necessary for executing Qatar Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy 2011 - 2016. He talked about the importance of those plans in shaping the ambitions of enhancing infrastructure and maximizing the effective role of private investments as well as public and private companies.
