The Railways, Underground-Metro & Highways Accident Risks Insurance Pool disburses EGP 200,000 of compensation to the families of the victims killed in the train-bus crash in Assiut during this week, said Mohamed Abul Yazid, head of the Pool. Such value was disbursed to the families of 10 death cases who finalized all the required documents. According to the latest data, 51 children were killed in the train-bus crash in Assiut and their families will receive compensation of EGP 20,000 for each, while EGP 10,000 will be disbursed for total disability cases resulting from the accident. The Pool awaits other families to submit their documents to pay them the compensation. It is worth noting that the Pool sent a team to Assiut to raise the awareness of people about their insurance rights.
