Armed clashes using heavy weapons have broken out between the Rumailat and Barahma tribes on the border city of Rafah, after a tribesman was accused of stealing a bike from the other tribe. The clashes left six people injured, and one was transferred to Rafah Central Hospital. Eyewitnesses said the machineguns and RPJ missiles were used in the battle. Two mortar shells fell in the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian sources. Witnesses report that the clashes are ongoing, and that pillars of smoke have been seen and shooting has been heard.
