Cairo – Egypt's young star Mohammed Ramadan sent his heartfelt condolences to all the Egyptian people following the Rafah terrorist attack where at least 10 military personnel were killed, including a colonel and several others wounded in the city of Rafah in the Egyptian province of North Sinai, on Friday morning. Ramadan seems to have a quite personal story to tell about the martyrs whom he personally met in the army where he is currently doing his one-year obligatory military service. Ramadan expressed his happiness and pride in having known martyr Colonel Ahmed Mansi, commander of the "Shock troop" Battalion 103, saying that: "This hero was a man who had great love for his homeland in every sense of the word." Ramadan also revealed that he met the martyr twice in the army. The first was when Colonel Ahmed Mansi came to the ‘Shock Troops' school to choose soldiers who would be deployed in North Sinai. "Previously, I did not have the liberty to choose what cinematic role I should play; however now, I have the full conviction that everything I will be casting in the future should be responsible and meaningful," Ramadan said in a telephone interview with Osama Kamel, presenter of Evening DMC program. "I have learned a lot from the school of the armed forces; the army has also changed my personality a lot during the conscription stint I am serving currently."
