Mosul (Iraq) - The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in Iraq said that it provides shelter and relief items to West Mosul displaced people in al-Salamiyah camp. The UNHCR in a statement said that it provides shelter and emergency assistance to West Mosul displaced families, via its implementing partner Acted organization. The UNHCR further demonstrated that 20 buses filled with around 1,200 people from west Mosul arrived at al-Salamiyah on Saturday they have been registered into the Assist system which was developed by the UNHCR to help monitor their status and the aid they receive. Once registered, the newly-arrived families are assigned a shelter and they are given food rations, alongside hygiene and dignity kits that would help them settle in and rebuild their lives.
