Cairo – An Egyptian Lawyer discloses that Al Jama'a Al Islamiyya (the leaders of violent operations against the state and civilians in the 1990's) are currently coordinating with security forces and refuse dealing with Muslim Brotherhood Researcher in the field of the political Islam movement, Lawyer Walid El Barsh disclosed that Al Jama'a Al Islamiyya (who is banned in Egypt but many of its members joined El Benaa Wal Tanmeya Party) have been communicating extensively with security forces after Osama Hafez assumed leadership of Al Jama'a following the death of its previous leader Essam Derbala particularly after the revolution of July 30th 2013 that ended the presidency of Mohamed Morsy who was a Muslim Brotherhood member. Al Barsh said, "the meetings started since Osama Hafez temporarily assumed leadership of Al Jama'a Al Islamiyya following the arrest of Essam Derbala, Chairman of Al Jama'a's Shoura Council on May 13th, 2015. The first meeting with Hafez took place on May 15th, 2015, the day he was arrested in Minya Governorate in southern Egypt. After his arrest, he agreed with security forces to leave the terrorist Jama'a Al Islamiyya which came to be known as the "Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy'' of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood. Al Jamaa's terrorist operations intensified in Southern Egypt during the 90's with professionals and college graduates being amongst its members. The researcher noted that on August 12th of the same year, Osama Hafez announced himself the official leader of Al Jama'a Al Islamiyya following the death of its previous leader. Later, Al Jamaa's leaders started getting released from prison when they announced they are no longer affiliated with the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood Group. The emergency law that has been enforced in Egypt for decades has helped in the arrest of many members affiliated with the Jamaa or those suspected of being so. Osama Hafez has also ordered the leaders of Al Jamaa to go to National Security Headquarters and confess their connection with the coalition that supports the ousted Morsi. Sure enough, over the period of 4 months, hoards of members and leaders of the Al Jamaa poured into the National Security headquarters and gave detailed confessions of their coalition with the Brotherhood. The gains of Al Jamaa coming from national security began to increase paramount amongst which was the halting of interrogations in the case of dismantling Al Benna Wal Tanmeya Party, which served as the political arm of the Brotherhood in addition to halting the decision to fire the leaders of the Jamaa from the Syndicate of lawyers even though it was proven that they joined the syndicate unlawfully.
