Egyptian military spokesman said in a statement that an armed group of terrorist elements attacked a northern Sinai insurance points, using four-wheel drive vehicles loaded with bombs and large quantities of high explosives. The attack took place on Thursday's evening. The spokesman added on its verified page that army immediately combated them "by all the means of fire and managed to kill three of the terrorist elements and wounding others". The statement mentioned that the operation against this group is still going till "completion of the search and combing the area to eliminate the rest of this 'Takfiri' elements". The explosion of the vehicle bombs and acts of clashes have resulted in martyrdom of eight members of the Egyptian armed forces, according to the statement.
