Update: Explosion in Sheikh Zuweid kills army officer, injures 2 soldiers

An explosion took place Thursday at Al Wahshy district, south El Sheikh Zuweid city in North Sinai left one Egyptian army officer killed, and two soldiers injured, following an explosive device targeted their armored vehicle, Youm7 news reported.
The vehicle had been bombed by two explosive devices planted on its way during combing the area, searching for terrorists, military source stated.
Wounded soldiers had been admitted to military hospital in Al Arish city.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
