President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met Tuesday with Uganda's Foreign Minister, Henry Oryem Okello in Cairo, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, Al-Bawaba News reported. Presidency spokesperson, Alaa Yousef said that Sisi demanded Okello to send his congratulations to Yoweri Museveni for his re-election as Uganda's president. Yousef added that the president praised the great relations between the two countries, pointing out that Egypt keen to boost its bilateral relations with Uganda in various fields. For his part, Okello praised Egypt's counter-terrorism efforts, confirming his country's condemnation to any terrorist attacks carried out in Cairo or any other city. The Ugandan minister praised also the Egyptian pivotal role in maintaining the security and stability in the Middle East, especially in Libya.
