Charge d'affaires of Ugandan Embassy in Cairo, Arthur Katsijazy said Saturday in a statement to Youm7 News that Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni would visit Egypt next year. He revealed that Museveni would visit Egypt, after concluding the presidential elections, where he is expected to win a new mandate. Katsijazy stressed that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi was able to restore order to his country again, after waves of unrest, and restore Egypt's influence in Africa and Middle East. He expressed his wishes for Egypt to succeed in dealing with many challenges which it faces, pointing out that Sisi is working to revive relations with Africa. Regarding cooperation between Cairo and Kampala in the fight against terrorism, he said Egypt spends a lot of efforts to provide military training and the security of his country. He praised Egyptian investments in Africa, including the development of railway networks, which are a crucial step on the road to logistic integration between African countries, explaining that such step will help introduce more investment opportunities in various fields, especially bilateral trade development.
