Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry conducted a series of meetings with South Sudan's senior officials during his recent visit to Juba on Thursday, Youm7 reported. Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Atty said in a statement that the minister participated with a number of international leaders and envoys in the celebrations of the fourth anniversary of South Sudan's independence. He added that the Egyptian minister delivered a message to South Sudan's President Silva Kiir to express Egypt's keenness to provide its support for the stability in the new-born country. On the other hand, Shoukry met with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on the sideline of the celebrations. They held talks about the recent developments in Africa and the ways to push forward the bilateral relations.
