Egypt's foreign minister, Sameh Shoukry will meet with his U.S. and Jordanian counterparts John Kerry and Nasser Gouda in New York on April 27, according to Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Badr Abdel Atty. The officials will address the latest developments in Yemen, as both Egypt and Jordan participate in the Saudi-led military operation to restore legitimate President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi. "The meeting comes as a result of Washington keenness to coordinate with the countries taking part in the coalition in Yemen," Abdel Atty said on Sunday.
