Minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry met Monday his Portuguese counterpart, Augusto Santos Silva at ministry's headquarters in Cairo, Veto News reported. Both sides discussed the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of investment and tourism, during the meeting. Shoukry expressed his thanks and appreciation to the support provided by Portugal to Egypt in its transition period, adding that he hopes Portugal would increase its support to Egypt through aiding in the revival of tourism.
