Minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry met Friday, with his US counterpart, John Kerry on sidelines of Paris peace conference that aims to revive Palestinian-Israeli peace process, to discuss bilateral ties. Shoukry said in a statement to Middle East News Agency (MENA), that the meeting tackled coordination between both countries on regional issues, Al Masry Al Youm News reported. The minister stressed that Egypt and the United States have the ability to communicate and interact with many parties and influential international forces. He pointed out that the meeting also tackled strengthening US efforts to support Egypt in the coming period, especially in the economic field, as well as the importance of maintaining the momentum of the strategic relations between the two countries.
