Egypt's mufti to attend a conference in Kazakhstan

Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam left Cairo International Airport heading to Kazakhstan Tuesday to attend the conference "religions against Terrorism," Youm7 reported.
Allam, who heads a high-profile delegation, is scheduled to participate in a conference at the Egyptian University for Islamic Culture in Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
The conference touches on the Islamic educational institutions and their role in correcting "intellectual deviations."
