Spokesman for ministry of foreign affairs announced Sunday that minister of foreign affairs Sameh Shoukry telephoned Libyan Prime Minister Fayez Al Sarraj to discuss developments of the Libyan crisis, Al Bawaba News reported. The spokesman revealed that both sides have stressed on the importance of uniting efforts to fight Islamic State (IS) and other terrorist organizations, which requires strengthening of the Libyan armed forces' capabilities and supporting them in the fight against terrorism. Al Sarraj expressed his appreciation for the continued support provided by Egypt to Libya, pointing out to the importance of working on the adoption of the government of National Accord by the parliament. He also communicated his wish to visit Egypt in the near future.
