Africa's Environment Ministers Conference will be launched Monday to discuss the environmental challenges witnessed in Africa and their repercussions, Youm7 reported. The conference, entitled "2030 Agenda ... Africa ... From Policies to Implementation", will discuss the ways to achieve sustainable development and the results of Paris Conference in addition to the recent developments related to Renewed Energy Initiative. Over 54 environment ministers are scheduled to participate in the conference in addition to representatives of African Union Commission and officials from a number of agencies related to the United Nations. Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Minister of Environment Khaled Fahmy are scheduled to attend the conference.
