Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavarov in Moscow to review a number of issues of joint concern, Al-Bawaba News reported Wednesday. The foreign ministry spokesperson, Ahmed Abu Zeid revealed that both officials discussed the Syrian issue and the withdrawal of Russian military units from Syria. Concerning Libya, they marked the necessity to support its elected government of national reconciliation. Both officials, as well discussed confronting terrorism and their joint anticipation to coordinate with UN regarding regional and international issues. The resumption of Russian tourism to Egypt occupied enough concern where Lavrov signaled to the positive cooperation between both sides regarding security and technical details of which were agreed to implement prior suspending the Russian ban on air traffic between both countries.
