Gold prices inch up on Aug. 12th

Spot gold prices increased on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 12:57 pm GMT by 0.25 per cent to $3,351.15 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,342.79.
Meanwhile, US gold futures fall 0.21 per cent to $3,397.62 per ounce, down from Monday's closing price of $3,404.7.
