Wilayat Sinai kills paramedic in North Sinai

Wilayat Sinai terrorist group militants opened fire on an ambulance in North Sinai's Sheikh Zuweid, killing a paramedic, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday.
The ambulance was on its way to Al-Shadyda in Sheikh Zuweid area that witnessed the murder of two police personnel following the explosion of an improvised explosive device.
Since September 2013, the Egyptian army and police have been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against Wilayat Sinai, formerly known as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, after it had claimed responsibility for several attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
In 2014, the group announced its allegiance to Islamic State jihadist group.
