Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced that foreign currency reserves rose to $16.533 billion at end of February 2016, compared to $16.477 billion at end of January 2016 recording a net increase of $155 million, Al-Bawaba News reported Friday. Egyptian government aims to boost foreign currency reserves to $28 billion through its economic social development plan 2015 to 2019 which covers four months of exported goods. The plan, suggested by Planning Ministry targets to raise capability of foreign currency reserves by 2030 to cover 10 months of exported goods.
