Egypt's Minister of Culture Helmy Al Namnam revealed his intention to conduct a visit to Alexandria's cultural palaces in the near future, Youm7 reported on Saturday. He pledged to consider the increasing complaints related to the closure of a large number of them as well as the problems of their buildings. He added, during the opening of Alexandria's Book Fair, that he is keen to resolve the problems of culture as the cultural identity performed the major role in protecting the country from the extremist ideas.
