Egyptian Minister of Culture, Helmi Al-Namnam received on Sunday Renato Lessa, director of National Brazilian Library, in the presence of Roy Amarel, Brazilian ambassador to Cairo over boosting bilateral ties, Al-Bawaba News reported. In the meeting, both officials discussed the exchange of scholars in the field of documents restoration and considered launching a photography fair displaying cultural, social and touristic sites in Egypt during the 19 century pictured by the then Brazil's Emperor through his visit to Egypt. Al-Namnam signaled to Egypt's most prominent laboratory in the Middle East located in the ‘Book and Documents House' and its long expertise in restoring documents. On his part, Lessa praised the joint cultural cooperation particularly with the Library of Alexandria and its contribution in enforcing the bilateral cultural ties.
