Head of Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish announced Monday that 86 ships had crossed through the Suez Canal during the last two days, Youm7 News reported. Mamish pointed out that 43 ships crossed through the north of the canal, while 43 ships crossed through the south side, with an overall weight of 15.7 million tons. He added that the largest container ship crossed through the canal was MATHILDE MAERSK weighing 200,000 tons coming from Morocco and TIANJIN weighing 168,000 tons.
