274 ships weighing 15.7 tons cross through Suez Canal past week

Head of Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish announced that 274 ships had crossed through the Suez Canal during the last week, Youm7 News reported Friday.
Mamish pointed out that 132 ships crossed through the north of the canal, while 142 ships crossed through the south side, with an overall weight of 15.7 million tons.
He added that the largest container ship crossed through the canal was Maltese "JEBEL ALI" weighing 146,000 tons.
