The Seed of Anger at the Egyptian Doctors Syndicate
Published in Albawaba on 13 - 02 - 2016

The Egyptian regime could have avoided the seed of anger planted in the headquarters of the Doctors Syndicate, downtown Cairo, where doctors held an unusual general assembly in response to police insults against their dignity that unexpectedly turned into a state of anger where other angry groups joined them.
The doctors' move against the police sergeants' attacks against their fellows in a governmental hospital does not in itself represent the real danger to the regime but the perils reside in those who joined the protests.

I think the real problem is not only in that the regime does not feel that there is a crisis in the street, but because it also sees the people don't have rights to oppose. President Sisi said he did what others would never do; hence, the whole people have to comply with the regime's views.
The real crisis of the regime resides in the manner it puts its priorities. It deals with the Egyptian people as slavishly who can be controllable through foods and drinks.
The current regime must understand that the trilogy of living, freedom and dignity will never be dispensable for the majority of Egyptians.
The regime is required to achieve means of good living, freedom and dignity now, not later on; otherwise it will not remain safe. This is a warning coming from supporters before the regime finds itself alone in the battle arena in an inevitable battle.
The Egyptian regime should not trivialize a gathering of ten thousand or five thousand doctors, which was held Friday, February 12, 2016, as this number could duplicate to five hundred thousand, and could turn claims to preserve the dignity of doctors to slogans against the regime itself.
Doctors only wanted the law and its value to dominate, a point that must be adhered by the regime. If this was achieved from the very beginning, we would not have seen such protests.
The regime has always called for renewing religious discourse, without paying attention to the renewal of its political speech. What Sisi used to say following the Revolution of June 30 concerning terror of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood and its allies never fits a president's speeches that have to tackle daily problems such as bread and the dignity of citizens.
People always find excuses and justifications for historic leaders even if they were defeated, while seek to oust presidents when unable to meet their basic tasks. This is the only message that must be apprehended by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his aides.
