Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the suicide bombing of a Shia mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia that killed four and wounded eighteen others, according to a communique released late Friday. The ministry has expressed its deepest condolences for the victims' families, and wished the injured quick recovery. "Egypt refuses all attempts to destabilize the public peace of the Saudi kingdom, and frighten its citizens," the statement reads. The foreign affairs ministry asserted that Egypt refuses and condemns all forms of terrorism and violence, calling on the international community to unite its efforts to eliminate this phenomenon, and dry out sources of terrorism. Two gunmen, wearing suicide bomb belts, attacked the Imam Reza Mosque during the Friday prayers. No group claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
