Russia's Foreign Ministry condemned Saturday the terrorist attack on a mosque in Saudi Arabia's Qatif province, Al Bawaba News reported. The ministry spokesperson, Alexander Lukashevich said that his country stood against the exploitation of religion for political purposes and sectarian conflicts, confirming that Russia will support the Saudi efforts to confront terrorism and extremist groups. On Friday, a suicide bomber attacked the Imam Ali mosque in Qatif, leaving 21 dead and 100 wounded.
