El-Araby to meet with OIC's Secretary General

Secretary General of Arab League, Nabil El-Araby will meet Sunday afternoon, Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Madani at Ritz-Carlton hotel in Tahrir Square, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The two sides will discuss the latest developments in the region and Islamic world, especially developments in Syria, Libya and Yemen, as well as discuss means to counter terrorism and extremism, which distorts the image of Islam.
Both sides will also hold talks on coordinating positions between Egypt and the OIC on terrorism in the upcoming period.
Madani arrived Sunday to Cairo from Jeddah in a two-day visit, during which he is scheduled to meet with a number of senior Egyptian officials, including minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry.
