The Cairo Criminal Court will resume Tuesday the trial of 68 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) members over charges of storming the Helwan Police station in August 2013, Al Bawaba News reported. The defendants face charges of terrorism, crowding, premeditated murder, sabotage public property and illegal possession of firearms. Investigations revealed that the defendants had attacked the police station with Molotov cocktail and stones in protest against the dispersal of the Raba'a sit-in. They randomly shot police soldiers and citizens, leaving numerous casualties.
